How and why did you get into this sport?
To prove I’m so much stronger than I could have ever believed and how far I've come from battles faced
What has been your biggest recent battle with training?
Embracing the unknown
If we were to open your diary from the last week, what would it say?
I started the week leaving my full-time job as a patisserie chef to chase my dreams of coaching and nutrition to push that career path further. The daunting feeling of leaving comfort to go into the unknown can be me talking challenging. Wondering if it’s the right time or’ the overwhelming internal monologue of “the what ifs” but for me, that feeling of wanting to give more and chase my passions was enough to go for it, and that time is now.
To end the beautiful week of new beginnings, I competed in Cardiff my second Hyrox race, and the energy in the stadium was magic. That feeling amplified why I love racing. The connections, electric energy and proving more of myself every time cannot be topped. Overall, a week of positive changes within my life and I’m excited to see what can flourish from taking the leap!
