Hyrox and Ironman 70.3 (endurance events and running events are my thing)

How and why did you get into this sport?

 

I’ve always done group fitness, but I got into training for Hyrox in 2023 to prove to myself I can do something hard. I then wanted to challenge myself even further and signed up for my first Ironman 70.3

I am now addicted to anything hard that involves some form of cardio.

What has been your biggest recent battle with training?

When I went back to drinking, it ruined my training and really set me back. I am now not drinking again and can see the improvements!

If we were to open your diary from the last week, what would it say?

I have just signed up as a sponsored athlete with The Performance Project and had my first coached week last week with Matt. The win was completing my sessions and releasing my latest podcast episode on how I quit drinking (again).
