Ultra-marathons, marathons

How and why did you get into this sport?

 

Started with Great North Run in 2013 and 2014, initially charity fundraising, then didn’t get back properly until 2018 where I found running gave me joy, a sense of achievement along side challenges while raising money for good causes as well as own wellbeing and finding the adventures in trail and ultra running

What has been your biggest recent battle with training?

This year has been a mixture of colds/niggles a and just hectic busy times training has been hampered and events not always going to plan

If we were to open your diary from the last week, what would it say?

Training has picked back up, pace is coming back and running is feeling good again!
